Vibrant Showcase of Talent: Annual Day Celebration for Grade 1 & 2 Students at Vivekananda Matric Higher Secondary School
The Annual Day celebration for Grade 1 and 2 students of Vivekananda Matric Higher Secondary School and Good Samaritan Nursery & Primary School was a vibrant and memorable event held at the Oasis Auditorium. The occasion was graced by the presence of Mr. K.V. Radhakrishnan and Mrs. Anitha Radhakrishnan, who presided over the festivities, setting the tone for an evening filled with talent and creativity. Mr. Joshua Prabhakara Singh, the Senior Principal of Vivekananda Matric Higher Secondary School, delivered an inspiring speech, highlighting the importance of education and encouraging students to pursue their passions.
Mr. Karthikeyan, an esteemed alumnus of the school and President of the Rotary Club Sirkali, served as the chief guest, commending the school’s excellence and motivating the students to excel in their endeavors.
Following the address, Mrs. Indira, the Coordinator for Grades 1, 2, & 3, presented the annual report, reflecting on the academic achievements and milestones of the students. The event also featured insights on child development methods shared by Mr. Alexander Heflin Isaiah, the Director of Good Samaritan Matric Higher Secondary School.
The highlight of the evening was the captivating performances by the students, showcasing their diverse talents through tree planting, storytelling, folk dances, skits, mime, oil painting, clay modeling, alien dance, keyboard recitals, group singing, and group dances. The event was a testament to the dedication and hard work of the students, who impressed the audience with their creativity and enthusiasm. Mrs. B. Deepa Pillai, the Principal of Good Samaritan Nursery & Primary School, expressed gratitude for the successful event, while Mrs. Saroja Damodaran, the Principal of Vivekananda Matric Higher Secondary School, praised the students’ achievements and encouraged them to continue striving for excellence.
