A Grand Celebration: 4th & 5th Annual Day at Good Samaritan Nursery & Primary School

The 4th to 5th Annual Day of Good Samaritan Nursery & Primary School, Sirkali, was held on 15th March 2025 at the VMHSS Oasis Auditorium (A/C). This grand occasion was graced by Dr. G. Praveen, MBBS, DMRD, DNB (RD), Radiologist, as the esteemed chief guest, along with the school correspondents and other dignitaries.
The event commenced with a prayer song, followed by a warm welcome address from Senior Principal, Mr. P. Joshua Prabakarasingh. The Annual Report, presented by Principal Mrs. B. Deepa Pillai, highlighted the academic and extracurricular achievements of the students throughout the year.

A key moment of the event was the recognition ceremony, where students with 100% attendance and outstanding academic performance were honored with shields and certificates. Their dedication and hard work were celebrated with much enthusiasm.

The chief guest, Dr. G. Praveen, delivered an insightful speech emphasizing the role of parents in a child’s education. He encouraged parents to spend quality time with their children, monitor their behavior, and guide them in both academics and personal growth. This was followed by a presidential address from School Correspondent, Mr. K.V. Radhakrishnan, who stressed the importance of parental supervision in shaping students’ character and future success.

The highlight of the evening was the cultural program, which mesmerized the audience with a variety of performances. A thematic dance on environmental awareness set the stage, followed by an array of dance performances, dramas, group songs, and solo acts by talented students.

Unique acts such as the shadow dance and clown dance added an element of creativity and excitement, keeping the audience engaged and entertained. The evening concluded with the National Anthem, marking the end of a spectacular and well-organized celebration.

This Annual Day was not just a platform for students to showcase their talents but also a reminder of the strong bond between parents, educators, and students in shaping a bright future. The event truly reflected the school’s commitment to holistic development and excellence.
