Empowering Young Minds: ‘Let’s Save Energy’ Awareness Program at Our School
On February 24, 2025, our school had the privilege of hosting an insightful slide presentation on energy conservation at the Oasis Auditorium. The event, titled “Let’s Save Energy”, was part of the SAKSHAM 2025 initiative, which promotes a cleaner environment through green and clean energy.
This remarkable program was supported by The Hindu and offered by GAIL (India) Ltd., Chennai. We were honored to have Zonal General Manager, Thiru K. Ashok, grace the occasion and enlighten our students on the importance of sustainable energy practices.
SAKSHAM is an optimized Learning Management Information System, designed to enhance knowledge through short courses prepared by national and global experts. The session helped students understand the significance of energy conservation and eco-friendly practices for a better future.
With 200 students actively participating, the event was both engaging and educational. All attendees received participation certificates, recognizing their commitment to learning about sustainable energy solutions.
The excitement peaked during the interactive quiz segment, where five brilliant students emerged as winners. These students were honored with certificates and surprise gifts, celebrating their enthusiasm and knowledge.
The ‘Let’s Save Energy’ program was a resounding success, sparking awareness and inspiring students to adopt environmentally responsible habits. We are proud to be part of such an impactful initiative, paving the way for a greener and more sustainable future.
