Vivekananda Matric. Hr. Sec. School Hosts Police-Led Anti-Narcotics Awareness Initiative

On January 1st, 2024, an Anti-Narcotics Awareness program was organized at Vivekananda Matric. Hr. Sec. School, Sirkali, in collaboration with the Department of Police. The esteemed Chairman, Mr. K.V. Radhakrishnan, presided over the program, emphasizing the school’s commitment to fostering a drug-free environment. The senior principal, Mr. P. Joshua Prabakarasingh, extended a warm welcome, setting the tone for an insightful session.

The chief guest, Mr. Sivakumar, Inspector of Police, delivered a comprehensive address, enlightening students about the severe consequences of drug addiction. Stressing the pivotal role of the student community, he expressed optimism about their potential to contribute to a drug-free society. The program saw active participation from both teachers and students, collectively working towards building awareness and resilience against narcotics.
