Vivekananda Educational Trust Celebrates Founder’s Day with CSR Initiative
Vivekananda Educational Trust, Sirkazhi, observed its Founder’s Day on 5 March 2026, marking the 19th anniversary in honour of its Founder, Mrs. Lalitha Kuzhandhaivelu. The day commemorated her inspiring vision for education, social service and community welfare.
Honouring the Founder’s Vision
In memory of the Founder’s dedication to uplifting society, the Trust has been organizing a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative every year for the past 19 years. This annual activity reflects the institution’s commitment to compassion, service and community development.
Support for Needy Families
Continuing this noble tradition, the Trust extended support to around 80 needy families from the local community. The beneficiaries were identified after carefully assessing their individual needs to ensure meaningful and practical assistance.
Distribution of Essential Support
The Trust provided various forms of livelihood and household support including goats, sewing machines, grinders, provision kits, large umbrellas and financial assistance. These resources aim to help families improve their daily living conditions and generate sustainable income opportunities.

The distribution programme was carried out on 5 March 2026, reinforcing the Trust’s dedication to social responsibility and community service. The initiative stands as a heartfelt tribute to the Founder’s values of generosity, empowerment and care for the underprivileged.
