Pongal Celebrations: A Festive Blend of Tradition & Joy!
The Pongal celebrations at Vivekananda Matric Higher Secondary School and Good Samaritan Nursery and Primary School were filled with festive spirit, cultural pride, and joy. Honouring our rich traditions, the event was graced by esteemed correspondents Mr. K.V. Radhakrishnan and Mrs. Anitha Radhakrishnan, who inspired students with their heartfelt address on the significance of Pongal. Adding a meaningful touch, students actively participated in an eco-friendly initiative by planting tree saplings, reinforcing the values of gratitude and sustainability.

The Pongal celebrations at Good Samaritan Nursery and Primary School (GSNP) began on a grand note with vibrant activities showcasing student creativity and discipline. The young learners crafted stunning traditional rangoli designs, beautifully capturing the spirit of Pongal.
Adding to the festive charm, the venue entrance featured an innovative vegetable and fruit market with the theme “Green Vegetables for Good Health,” promoting healthy eating habits. Fresh vegetables and fruits were artistically displayed, creating a welcoming and lively ambiance. Grade 2 students demonstrated exceptional creativity in organizing the market, making the event both engaging and educational.
