As we celebrate our 50th Anniversary. We aim to promote good healthcare and medicine in all corners of our community, our management associated with MGM healthcare to provide Free Heart and Liver Camp, in Chennai on 2.7.2022.
In this camp More than 350 people were benefited through this camp. All aspects of the camp were carefully organized by our correspondent Mr.K.V.Radhakrishnan, Chairman, Vivekananda & Good Samaritan Educational Institution.
The medical camp was inaugurated by Dr. P.Muthukumar M.D, he is practising medicine in Kumar Hospital, Sirkali. This camp was headed by renowned specialists Dr. Vishnu, Cardiologist consultant and Dr.Srikanth Liver Transplantation consultant. Dr. Kaviya M.D and Dr Balasubramaniam M.D along with their team of 3 Tech & 9 Nurses provided free check up for all who attended the camp .
The medical camp was organized for 2 consecutive days 2.7.2022 & 3.7.2022. Over 350 people who were economically backward and were in dire need of medical attention in sirkali were diagnosed and benefitted from this camp. There were numerous health medical check-ups that were carried out to benefit people like BMI, Echo, ECG, and Fibro scan all at free of cost. Our correspondent wanted to do more than health camp, he remembered the saying “Food is Medicine” so he organized a free meal for all the people who attended the campaign, doctors, nurses, and volunteers
Here is the look at the super heroes of the medical camp. These army of doctors, volunteers, medical tech, nurses, and staff coordinated and made sure the right medical help is provided to all the individuals. The team worked hard for two days providing essential healthcare and motivating the youngsters and students to help the needy and pursue education in medical field. We VMHSS thank the team of doctors from MGM and Our chairman for organizing the most Nobel campaign.

Our students outshined in this medical camp. The scouts team took all the responsibilities and made sure the event is well organized and disciplined. Students helped in all the ways they can from registration to helping elderly get their medical tests. The scouts group dedicatedly worked for 2 days, on the process our scouts have gained knowledge on leadership and management skills.
