Fight against drug abuse
One of the major growing concerns among youngsters and teenagers in India is drug abuse. Due to lack of awareness on the after effects many youngsters fall prey to the addiction of drugs and in the process many lose their life and families. To create awareness on the same students from Vivekananda matriculation higher secondary school, good Samaritan public school and Vivekananda college of arts and science all came together an participated in the rally along with police department.
The awareness rally against drug abuse was organized on 25th June. Apart from Vivekananda school and college students. More schools and colleges participated in the rally. Over 2000 students participated in the rally to create awareness among the public.

Our school students went all ahead and prepared various pluck cards, sayings, and chart drawings all showcasing the awareness message on drug abuse. Students motivated the public to participate in the rally and took social responsibility on the fight against drugs. Our students learned multiple lessons on being responsible citizens from the rally.

This mega rally with over 2000 students from schools and colleges were organized by these dignitaries Our chairman, Secretary, Principal and police department of Mayiladuthurai district. After the drug abuse rally the dignitaries addressed students about the importance of staying away from drugs and the dangerous health issues cause by the drugs.
