Vibrant Celebrations Unfold as Vivekananda Matriculation Hr. Sec. School Marks 51st Annual Day: A Day for Boys of Standards 6-8

Vivekananda Matriculation Hr. Sec. School in Sirkali celebrated its 51st Annual Day over multiple days, with each day dedicated to specific groups. On January 22, 2024, the focus was on the boys from standards 6 to 8. The vibrant event, attended by students and their parents, commenced at 10:00 AM with a warm welcome from the esteemed senior principal, Mr. Joshua Prabhakara Singh.

The chief guest for this particular day was Mrs. Deivanayaki, Divisional Engineer of Highway Construction and Maintenance Services in Srikali. Her presence added inspiration and pride to the occasion, and she delivered an encouraging speech. A token of gratitude, in the form of a memento, was presented to Mrs. Deivanayaki by Mrs. Anitha Radha Krishna, the secretary.

The event was graced by the esteemed correspondent of the school, Mr. K. V. Radhakrishnan, and the secretary, Mrs. Anitha Radhakrishnan, elevating the grandeur of the celebration. The cultural extravaganza unfolded with captivating performances, including dances, an English drama, a song, a mime and skit, mimicry, yoga, and mesmerizing Silambam displays by talented students. The auditorium echoed with enthusiastic cheers from parents as their children showcased their exceptional talents on stage. The four-hour celebration concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks and the resonant notes of the national anthem, leaving a lasting impression on all attendees.

Girls from 6th to 8th Standard Shine at Vivekananda Matriculation’s Annual Day

Vivekananda Matriculation Higher Secondary School in Sirkali shone brightly as it hosted its splendid 51st Annual Day Celebration on January 23, 2023. The morning commenced with a warm welcome address delivered by Mrs. R. Anitha Radhakrishnan, Secretary of Good Samaritan and Vivekananda Educational Institutions. Following this, the esteemed Correspondent of the school, Mr. K.V. Radhakrishnan, graced the occasion with his Presidential Address. The presence of Chief Guest Dr. Nithya Manoharan, Consultant & Gynaecologist from Dr. Bernard Shaw Clinic, added a touch of grandeur to the event with her inspiring speech.

The Annual Day function served as a platform for students to showcase their creativity, teamwork, and leadership abilities. Engaging performances, ranging from dances to English dramas and songs, captivated the audience. The event also featured a captivating mime and skit, along with entertaining acts of mimicry and yoga. The culmination of the celebration was marked by mesmerizing Silambam performances by the talented students. Parents, teachers, and members of the community were invited to witness the remarkable display of talent and dedication put forth by both students and staff members. The festivities concluded with a vote of thanks offered by Ms. L. Patricia Priyadharshini from Vivekananda Matriculation Higher Secondary School, followed by the uplifting strains of the National Anthem.
