53rd Annual Day Celebration 2025–26 – Std IV & V Vivekananda Matric Hr. Sec. School & Good Samaritan Nursery and Primary School, Sirkali

The 53rd Annual Day Celebration 2025–26 for Std IV and V was held on 27 February 2026 at 10:00 a.m. at the fully air-conditioned Oasis Auditorium, Sirkali. The event was celebrated with great enthusiasm, showcasing academic excellence, cultural talent and holistic development of students.

Grand Inauguration and Welcome

The programme began with a soulful Prayer Song by the students, invoking divine blessings for a successful celebration. Student M. Lakshitha (V–E) delivered the Welcome Address, warmly greeting the dignitaries, parents and guests, setting an inspiring tone for the event.

Chief Guest and Presidential Address

The celebration was honoured by the presence of Dr. K. Prasannapriya, MBBS, MS (OG), proud alumna and Assistant Professor at Government Cuddalore Medical College & Hospital. She was introduced by Mrs. D. Saroja Dhamodharan, Principal of Vivekananda Matric Hr. Sec. School.

The Chief Guest was honoured by Mr. K. V. Radhakrishnan, Correspondent of Vivekananda & Good Samaritan Educational Institutions, Sirkali, who delivered the Presidential Address, emphasizing that “Discipline and determination are the keys to lasting success.”

Annual Report and Academic Achievements

The Annual Report was presented by Mrs. N. Indira, Primary Co-ordinator of Good Samaritan Nursery and Primary School. The report highlighted the school’s achievements in academics, co-curricular activities and student development.

The auditorium resonated with applause as students were celebrated for their hard work and perseverance

Cultural Programme – A Celebration of Talent

The cultural events added colour and vibrancy to the Annual Day celebration. Students of Std IV and V performed a wide range of thematic dances, dramas and musical presentations, including:
  • Welcome Dance of Light (Semi-Classical Dance)
  • Bollywood Meets Kollywood (Hindi Group Song)
  • An Ode to Soil (Folk Dance)
  • The Grammar Court (English Drama)
  • Dancing Atoms (Lilliput Dance)
  • Learning Today, Leading Tomorrow (Tamil Drama)
  • Daughter of Strength (Women Empowerment Dance)
  • Guys on Fire (Boys’ Dance)

  • From traditional performances to modern rhythms, each presentation reflected creativity, confidence and teamwork.

    In her Special Address, Dr. K. Prasannapriya encouraged students to dream big, remain disciplined and work consistently toward their goals. Her inspiring words motivated students to strive for excellence in every aspect of life.

    The Vote of Thanks was proposed by Student K. Aadidev (IV–A), expressing gratitude to the management, dignitaries, teachers and parents for their support.

    The programme concluded with the National Anthem, marking the end of a memorable and inspiring 53rd Annual Day Celebration at Vivekananda Matric Hr. Sec. School and Good Samaritan Nursery & Primary School, Sirkali.
